The Process
  1. To receive a price quote, simply send us the following:
    • Your name, address, email and phone number
    • Designated name, address, email and phone numbers of alternate person, if applicable
    • Brief project description
    • Word count, number of chapters and number of pages in format shown below
    • Your time requirements, if any
    • Service you are considering
    • Questions
    • A sizeable sampling of your project, or two successive middle chapters of your book manuscript, in the following format:
      1. MS Word document
      2. Double-spaced
      3. 8 ½ x 11, one-inch margins
      4. 12-point font Times New Roman

  2. We’ll send you our cost estimate. If requested, we are happy to provide a sample edit of your project.

  3. Upon choosing us, please submit your entire document in the above format, along with your initial payment, if applicable. See payment information below. If your submitted project exceeds 100 pages, we’ll send you an agreement to sign.

  4. We will begin the editing process, utilizing MS Word’s tracking system and MS Word’s comment box function as needed.

  5. We will contact you (or your designated person) during the editing process, should we have questions or need clarifications. The extent of our communication depends solely on the requirements of the project at hand. Also, if the project is a lengthy one, it is often best to send you a chapter or two at a time for review.

  6. Upon completion, we will send you the edited document for your review, along with our invoice, payable upon receipt. You will have a specified number of days (1-5) to review it.

  7. Please let us know if you need instructions for “accepting” the changes to your MS Word document, so the tracking function is eliminated from the document entirely.

Special arrangements must be made for other methods of payment.

Your payment of our invoice is due immediately upon our completion of your project; and, in the case of large projects, your first installment is due before we begin.

Your Privacy

You may be assured that we guard your privacy with great care. All the information and all copy you share with us will be held in the strictest confidence.

Disclaimers

As the originator of this project, you are responsible for the content of your document, its quality and its use. Word Framer disclaims all liability concerning the use of this document.

We retain the right to refuse work if it is outside the scope of our experience or if the content is objectionable.

While it is our goal to carefully maintain the integrity of your work, the results of any editing or writing project are highly subjective; and, as such, you are responsible to make full payment regardless of how many or how few of our changes and suggestions you decide to accept.

We have no affiliation with any publishing company and do not promote your manuscript. We cannot be held responsible for the marketability of your project, nor can we assess its marketability.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, power outages, acts of God and technological failures. In such circumstances, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund, depending on how much work has already been done.
